I decided to order these after I was starting to get used to my red 7 lbs. set and wanted more tension. I use these everyday for a nerve problem I have and to keep my fingers in shape for bass playing. They are a great product and well made. If you are starting out, these may be a bit much. You might want to start with their medium tension set. They are a great stress reliever too. The shipping was fast on both my orders and they have a web site for more info and exercise ideas.
